October

Okay - here's the October rundown:

Reilly's 1st birthday- October 1! Baby girl is not a baby anymore. We had perfect fall weather for her party, although Reilly was a bit 'under the weather' herself. After she ate her cake, though, things went uphill. :)

A glimpse of our beautiful neighborhood. These colors are amazing!

Here are some pictures from a fun day spent at my parents' house. Again, amazing weather, beautiful scenery, and happy girls. They played in the leaves, took a walk, and we all rode in the back of my dad's truck over to my grandparents' house for our "hayride."

Halle's "school" time. She's a sponge, just soaking up everything she can learn. However, my attempts at getting her to sit still at a table are not always successful. Most of the time, though, she loves to draw, paint, and even practice tracing and writing letters. Future artist maybe?

Josh and I got away to Louisville for "A Weekend to Remember" marriage conference put on by Family Life. It was the first time we'd been gone for more than a day since we've had the girls. Fun and relaxing weekend with my husband of 4.5 years!

Halloween 2011: We are just not that into Halloween. I got the girls matching ladybug costumes, and they looked very cute of course. We just went to my parents', my aunt and uncle's (and cousins), and my grandparents' houses. That was enough for them - and they definitely enjoyed the goodies.

Random pictures from the month that were too cute to leave out- Halle smiling after going on the potty chair (in the play room, yes) and saying, "I did it!" -Halle kissing Reilly (who just woke up from a nap...haha). -Fog over the just-harvested cornfield at sunrise just off our backyard.
